Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)

300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar

For the Cocktail (produces 850ml, enough for 10)

400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing

Directions

To prepare the Syrup: Place all the ingredients into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, remove from the heat and let it to reach room temperature entirely. Decant to a clean bottle, close it keeping it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about a month.

To make Batch Mix: Mix all the liquids in a large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, so it's fully clarified.

When ready to serve: Add 85ml from the premix into a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate lightly for a minute until cold. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, top with a few cranberries and finish with a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
